FAQ

Q: How does IV therapy work?
IV therapy, also called IV hydration, delivers fluids through a small IV catheter, which bypasses the digestive system so nutrients go right into your bloodstream. Unlike supplements by mouth, our body can absorb 100% of the fluids and nutrients when given by IV. Our IV infusions contain essential vitamins, minerals or medications that will keep you hydrated and your body working at peak performance.

Q: Is IV therapy safe?
IV therapy is safe, especially when administered by medical professionals. You can be confident that all our vitamins and supplements come from 503A and 503B Compounding Pharmacies that source from FDA-registered facilities. This means they undergo the highest levels of testing before they’re made available to our clients. Our IV specialists are experienced registered nurses or physicians. Additionally, all new patients receive a thorough medical health history evaluation and physical exam to ensure our treatments are safe for you.

Q: What are the benefits of IV therapy?

  • The most efficient and quickest way for your body to absorb nutrients

  • High cellular absorption and 100% bioavailability

  • Adjunct treatment for various conditions

  • Increased athletic performance

  • Boost your body’s metabolism to increase energy

  • An effective way to receive immune-boosting antioxidants

  • Helps maintain a healthy weight

  • One of the best ways to alleviate a hangover

  • Anti-aging properties

Q: Does IV therapy hurt?
If you’re afraid of shots, we totally get it. With an IV, you don’t have a needle inside you the entire time. Our nurses are experienced and use a tiny needle to puncture the skin and then insert the catheter. Once the catheter’s in, we remove the needle, and you don’t have to worry about a thing.

Q: What are the different types of IVs?
There are different ways to achieve intravenous access. All infusions are given through a new IV. We will not access any ports, PICC lines or other intravenous lines placed outside of our clinic.

Q: How many treatments does it take until I see results from my IV therapy?
Benefits can be seen after the first treatment, and with regular sessions, safe and lasting effects can be achieved.

Q: Are there any medications or medical conditions that would prevent me from accessing IV therapy?
While we wish we could offer IV therapy to every patient, in certain medical conditions, giving additional fluids could worsen your overall health. Patients with a history of heart failure, kidney disease on dialysis or severe liver disease are not eligible for our IV therapies.
